The Boys-Only Buddies Club focuses on the social learning needs of elementary school aged boys (approximately 7-10 years old). The group structure and content has been developed for boys who are able to engage in back and forth conversation with peers and adults but experience difficulties with more complex socialization. Michelle Garcia Winner's Social Thinking Curriculum and CBT approaches are integrated to facilitate social coping skill development, including emotional awareness, self-regulation, and social problem solving.
