Speech Language Services

Speech and language services at ASPIRE are currently offered by Gina-Marie Moravcik. Speech and language services target both basic language as well as higher-order language skills such as conversation skills, social thinking, and figurative language. Speech and language therapy can also target specific skills, particularly for older teens and young adults, such as preparing for job interviews, communicating with coworkers.
Social Communication Evaluations:
You may benefit from a semantic pragmatic language evaluation. Specialized assessment targeting a child/adult’s use and comprehension of higher-order language skills: figurative language, rules of social language, conversations, social thinking, and perspective taking.
- Are you concerned that your child is not receiving appropriate speech-language services?
- Have you been told that your child has no speech or language difficulties?
- Does your child struggle with social communication, understanding non-verbal cues, participating in reciprocal conversations?
